Hire Terms and Conditions
1. The hire period for a weekend event shall run from Friday to Monday, or whichever end date is suitable and agreed by both parties. The hire fee is set for this period or part thereof.
2. The deposit made on booking is non-refundable unless the booking is cancelled within 7 days.
3. The full hire fee must be received 14 days prior to collection of the items if paying by cheque. Cheques must be supported by a bankers card. Only then can the hire period commence. 4. On commencement of the hire, a damage/loss deposit cheque will be taken for the approx replacement value of quantity one item. N.K.W will return this cheque, uncashed, on return of the item/s and found to be in good condition after inspection. Inspection can not always be carried out at the time of return/pick-up.
5. If the item/s are not returned by the agreed end date, a daily fee will be applied to the account. If the item/s fail to be returned or are found to be damaged, the deposit cheque will not be returned.
6. N.K.W shall always endeavour to hire out the original item as seen. However, N.K.W reserves the right to replace the original item with an item deemed to be a suitable alternative. 7. Whilst the goods are on hire, they become the responsibility of the hirer. All best endeavours should be taken to look after the items whilst on loan. Hired items should not be left outside after use or in inclement weather.
8. All packaging received with the item/s must be retained safely during the hire period and returned with the items in the as received condition. A charge may be made for lost or damaged packaging.
9. Hired goods are not to be changed, sprayed or defaced in any way whilst on loan. This will deem the item damaged and the damage deposit will be claimed.
10. In the case of one breakage in a set or various goods on hire, N.K.W will make a decision on return as to whether the deposit is lost or part payment is acceptable. N.K.W's decision is final. Should the breakages exceed the deposit cheque taken, i.e for numerous items on hire, N.K.W will invoice for the replacement value accordingly.
11. All products hired remain the property of N.K.W Weddings.
Chair Cover Hire Terms and Conditions
1. Upon booking your chair covers, a 25% deposit of the full hire fee will be requested. This deposit is non-refundable.
2. Delivery, Set-up and Collection is included within the hire fee of Chair covers. A mileage fee may be added to the account and will be specified at time of booking.
3. Laundering of Chair Covers and Sashes is included within the hire fee.
4. The Chair Covers will be delivered and set-up on the morning of your event or on the previous day, whichever is more convenient for both parties. The venue's stipulations will also be considered.
5. Collection will be made the following day where convenient. Access to the venue and chair covers is to be arranged by the hirer.
6. The balance of the account is requested 8 weeks prior to the event. Non payment will be considered as termination of the requirement.
7. A loss/damage cheque for £30 will be requested with the balance. This will be returned by post when the chair covers have been collected and inspected and found to be in good order.
8. Whilst on loan the Covers, Sashes and accessories become the responsibility of the hirer. Every effort should be taken to look after the items. The holding cheque will be retained if loss or damage occurs. 9. The Chair Covers are not suitable for folding chairs, and will not knowingly be supplied for such. Should the cover be used by the hirer on a folding chair, they do so at their own liability.
10. N.K.W Weddings accepts no liability whatsoever for any injury or damage to persons or property whilst products are on hire. The hirer is responsible for ensuring the covers & sashes are fitted correctly to prevent accident or injury.
11. The hirer may take out their own insurance, if desired, for equipment whilst on loan.
12. All products hired remains the property of N.K.W Weddings.
